Ambulance Victoria provide paramedical and MICA services across 250 locations in metropolitan and regional/rural areas in Victoria. They also operate Air Ambulance Victoria (in association with the Royal Flying Doctors Service – South Eastern Section), a statewide aeromedical care and patient transport service.

The Royal Flying Doctors Service, or RFDS, is the first and largest aeromedical organisation in the world. The South Eastern Section provides medical services to regional and rural New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, southwest Queensland, and northern South Australia.

Victoria State Emergency Service

The Victoria State Emergency Service, or VICSES, is a volunteer emergency service that provides planning and incident response to floods, severe storms, earthquakes, road accident rescue, as well as search and rescue.
